I starteded riding in 1997 in and around the Boston area. My first bike was a Trek 930 Hard Tail from Belmont Cycle Works. Shipped it out with me to Southern California in 2001. December 2003, I found a Marin East Peak under the Christmas tree from Kent(ok it was really in my kitchen) and my Trek was retired to the road (paved). In 2005, I started to ride alot more in the fall and became a stronger rider so I took my Trek out of retirement and converted him into a Single Speed. I fell in love with SS’g so I decided to buy one made specifically for SS’g….my Single Speed Fixation. My first custom bike. I dressed him up with some old and new parts, which took me a month to find and collect. I’m not usually a fan of red but the red anodized pieces on him look awesome.
