That's excellent advice on the ring - I agree. I want her opinion too though. I think it should be simple, yet elegant, but for the most part classic in design. Yeah, everything got crazy busy all of a sudden in the past month or so - I probably won't purchase the ring until around May. I really don't want to sell any bikes. Diamonds scare me. Thanks for offering your help, I may write you as things progress a little further!

Wes, If you're looking for an engagement you can't go wrong with platinum and a round rock. Let me know the parameters of your search. Sorry about not getting back to you sooner. I've been busier than crap with the holidays. I work for an education firm and we had a bunch of time off during the holidays but that just means that the work piles up when you're gone.

How much are you wanting for the wheels? Do they come with spokes, hubs, skewers, etc? I just got an Ultegra Crank sans bottom bracket for 40 bucks from my local shop. Right now that's all I've got. I need fork, handlebars, basically everything but cranks and frame. I've got my work cut out for me.

I'm going to be buying an engagement ring soon...and I was thinking of selling a bike or three to help subsidize the cost...a painful proposistion in itself...we'll see what happens
