Yeah! The wheels arrived and it’s done. We took a test ride and everything is pretty sweet! The brakes need a little fine tuning, but nothing major. I can’t wait to get it out for some good riding. Thanks to all of you guys for inspiring me to build the bike I’ve always wanted.

The parts have arrived! Well, most of them anyway. Cameron helped me assemble the bottom bracket and headset. The wheels are backordered so we have to wait…I hate waiting… We also have to find another seatpost clamp, but that’s it. A nice smooth build so far!

Ok, I broke down and ordered the rest of the parts new. They are scheduled to arrive today so we can do the build up over the Memorial Day weekend. The wheels are backordered for another week and a half though… We’ll be ready for them when they arrive!

Ebay again! We won a decent FSA Orbit headset and a Redline Flight fork. The headset cups pressed right in. The fork is NOS and was scuffed up pretty good. We peeled the redline decals and sanded it down, primed it and repainted it (black). The red fork just looked like crap on the black bike.

I got the frame on ebay a couple of weeks ago. We’re looking forward to building it up.
