My lovely position has just passed it’s first birthday and, barring the top tube decals rubbing off, hasn’t missed a beat. And i haven’t been as nice to it as i really should have. Being a courier in glasgow, scotland is kinda like being a courier in every riding condition and climate in the world, mostly at the same time. Someone once said that if you don’t like the weather in scotland, just wait five minutes ‘cos some different stuff will come along! And it’s true. For a lovely light track frame my steed has been parked under 2 taxis, one bus (resulting in a five week lay-off for me with a broken wrist, in which, the bike remained locked up outside for most of it) and is still completely spot on! If i did any of that one my old pete matthews, you’d be able to use the frame as a jig for making huge pretzels!
