My real name is John Camoriano and my wife’s is Jennifer Camoriano. We are both new to Mountain biking in 2005. I started it to keep fit as a 48 yo former runner. Placed either 1st or 3rd in my first 3 races for my age category and got cocky. Now realizing getting good is HARD work…especially if I want to beat the “old” guys in my current and upcoming categories of 40-49 and 50 to 59.
My wife Jennifer and I ride together constantly. She on her Fetish and me on my Ellsworth. We grudgingly ride road to increase our fitness level but hate it compared to the joy of mountain biking.
Our 7 kids are all at varyinig levels of biking. BMX is their thing but we got 4 of them to ride in the Mcdowell Mountain Bike race in 2006 and they loved it. Even Jordan age 6 on her pink barbie bike did the sport-tech loop without being pushed or carried.
