Anybody have a 2006 Black Fetish Discipline? Mine came today and I was bummed, its not black like the pictures appear to be! Its a dark blue, purple color for sure. In addition, the graphics on the frame aren’t as shown in the picture. The graphics on this frame take up the whole top tube and down tube….they were the first things to go before I started building the frame! I hate to sound like a whiner, but I’m all about the black and this is like Trek’s Midnight Blue color. I’m a graphic designer and work with colors palettes on a daily basis, this isn’t black? The frame is sick, great geometry and overall look, but somebody is color blind at Fetish. None the less, I’m going to keep the frame because “black” is the only color they had in a 22" and I’m not about to pay $40 to ship it back. I’ll have pics up by the weekend.

So what should have been a typical frame build last night ended up being a nightmare! I had to chase the threads in the bottom bracket of my brand new 2006 Discipline because the first 3 rows of threads were all crushed! I’m being optimistic and trusting all the positive feedback people have written about Fetish on this site…but to be honest I’m not too happy with the product I received. I guess you get what you pay for!!!
