Just got my Addiction frame, shes beautiful, only, they didnt have the bushings for the RP23, and had to install my new XTR front derailuer, i think Dunn is going to help me put it together tomorrow if possible after we ride, National up to the towers and down DC, good way to say goodbye to the Discipline, anyone want the frame? (I mean the HT, not selling the Addiction anytime soon) heres the bike page for the Addiction, http://www.ridefetish.com/bike/show/663
I read in Mountain Bike Action Magazine that Manitou was coming out with a new R7 thats supposedly weighs 2.7 lbs, does anyone know when they will be available? And Scooby, did you see anything about it at Interbike? Would it be a good upgrade from the R7 that comes with the Discipline?
Thanks
Anyone know of a good geared 29er? Im not ready for the single speed yet. And are there advantages to a 29er? Does Fetish have a geared 29er? Im thinking about selling my Specialized and Voodoo and trying to buy a 29er. And anyone in the PHX area, is Mormon National easier with a 29er?
Thanks
DJ
Im not sure if this has been mentioned but, Right now, Fetish Cycles Racing is in first in the MBAA Championship Point Series team standings with 743 points, followed by Absolute Bikes with 689 points.
I HATE THIS COURSE!! It’s said to be 10 miles but it feels like twice that because of the hills and rocks. I only wrecked once, coming down a slightly sandy hill, slipped to the side hit a ledge on the side, if you looked at it from the top, theres a drop on the left, and a cliff on the right, the cliff doesn’t go down, it goes up, so i hit the cliff, scraped myself in the armpit area but just behind it, my handlebars twisted around, and scratched me just a little. I took 5th in the race, even though i should’ve gotten 4th, results were posted and i was in 4th, then when awards came, i was bumped down to 5th……
