I put the Titec Jones H-Bars on my Fetish Fixation recently. Awesome bars. I highly recommend these bars for any single speed rigs.
Took the Festish Fixation SS out today for a group ride in Wharton State Forest. Great place for a SS. We have been building and mapping miles of trail in Wharton. We have about 60 miles dedicated for mountaion biking. Its the largest state park east of the Mississippi.
Despite little elevation change and alot of sand, it is a great place for winter and wet riding. Plus, we have the Jersey Devil.
At any rate, I love my Fixation SS. I am looking forward to see the new FS Fetish. It just might replace my Ellsworth.
Best wishes for a happy New Year!
Recently received the Fetish jerseys in the mail. They are very sharp! I bought one for a friend as a thank you who over the winter lent me a converted SS which led me to buy and build a Fetish Fixation SS.
Bike will be finished in a week or so and will post pictures.
Started to build a Fetish Fixation recently and one of the last components to acquire is the fork. Did not have anything laying around that would be suitable.
As luck would have it, I just found out that I have been selected as a recipient of the FOX/IMBA Heroes program which will be announced in the upcoming IMBA Trail News. Part of the recognition is receiving a FOX suspenion fork of my choosing! I will likely put the new Fox on my Ellsworth and move the Marzocchi from the Truth to the Fixation.
Thank you bike Gods! I will share a photo of the Fixation once it is assembled.
My Fetish journey began last week when a Fixation frame was delivered from an eBay purchase. My wife actually arrived home before I did the day the frame was delivered and she hid the box. Not until she was asleep that night when I checked email did I discover that FEDEX had been by and somewhere in the house was the foundation of a new bike, a new relationship and a new journey.
Searching high and low, I discovered the Fetish box in the garage. I quickly swept up the package and into the house we went. Unveiling the frame from its packing was a thrill.
Since the frame has arrived, I have been pouring over websites and inquiring recommendations on what parts to use to build the SS. Its like courting before the “I do” or the foreplay before the…
What will the Fixation be dressed in… A White Bros Eno eccentric or a Surly flip/flop? A straight bar with Cane Creek bar ends or a Jones H-bar?
Stay tuned…
