Have been riding for a few years now, but only serious for the last five or six. Injuries seem to keep me from racing, but alway’s looking forward to the new year. Earlier this year I competed in the Thule Adventure Challenge at the Sea Otter Classic. More on that later . . . let’s just say the SOC is not very well put together or run . . . . BUT I am getting ready for the Death Ride in three weeks (July 12th) and I’ll be sporting my new Dirigente and I’m planning on getting ceramic bearings in my new bottom bracket. I was hoping for a new wheelset, but I’ll have to wait on that. I’m planning on turning “Blanca,” my SAC into a single speed or maybe a CycloCross ride – I haven’t decided yet.
