This afternoon I finally made my way to Prospect Park. I found that it’s only about a 2.5 mi ride from my apt to the park, and I’m getting used to riding on the busier city streets here so it wasn’t too bad. Inside the park there’s a decent 3.35 mi loop. The scenery is a nice change from the rest of the city, and there seems to be a cool group of other cyclists and runners too. So I biked the loop a handful of times and then ventured back through the busy streets dodging traffic, pedestrians, potholes, car doors swinging open, double-parkers, rocks, construction, and pigeons.


In other news, I just registered for the NYC Century Bike Tour on Sunday, September 9th.
