The weather here lately has been absolutely gorgeous; sunny, 70-80 degrees, perfectly clear, slight breeze. It’s just been too nice out to say inside. With biking, running, work, and apartment searching, studing for finals next week has seemingly been pushed to the bottom of my list of priorities, and is now strictly reserved for night time or rainy weather, but oh well.
So let the springtime biking commence:
Saturday 4/28: biked a 15 mile loop between my apt and uptown Mpls. (avg 15 mph)
Sunday 4/29: biked 30 miles from the U of M, through uptown Mpls, around Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet, and back to campus. (avg 16 mph)
Tuesday 5/1: biked a 20 mile loop through uptown Mpls, around Cedar Lake, along Theodore Wirth Park, through downtown Mpls, and back to uptown Mpls. (avg 16 mph)
Today 5/2: biked my usual a 10 mile loop along the Mississippi’s East River Road, across the Ford Parkway bridge and back up the West River Road. (avg 17 mph)
Now it’s off to work, then running tonight…
