Hello all brothers of the Mountain biking world To anyone who hasn’t done it,the whiskey 50 is one hell of a great ride/Race. You can choose to do the 25miles which is all fun and mostly in the woods or you can kill yourself and do the 50 mile like me where you ride 12 miles down a service road to Skull Valley and then back up to meet the 25 mile course again. That ride up is looong. It seems to never end. Another great thing about it is it starts in down town Prescott and ends there, my Brother Jackhammer Al lives within drunken walking distance from whisky row, I love epic rides, they are the main reason for me to ride. Here in Arizona we have several good ones, The Whiskey 50, toys for tots Flagstaff to the grand canyon, Flight of the Pigs, the Soul Ride, Tour of the white Mountains and several other I may not know about yet. These are all Mountain bike rides that usually have a distance of 60 miles or more. If you never done one but want to, I highly recommend it just do the ones that are rides and not races if it’s your first time, then you will get hooked like I did.
