Ok, so it’s been a while since I’ve really written anything more than a technical manual for some assault-rifle accessory, so i thought I’d stretch my fingers.
So I am moving out of ol’ D’town and up north to Lafayette, which is a few minutes away from Boulder. The riding out here is supposed to be incredible, and now I’m only 6.6 miles from work, I am excited to start riding into the office. It’s going to be pretty incredible to not have to take the highway every day.
Luckily for me, the CEO of my company is a bit of a Tri rider and has raced the Xterra Challenge a few times, so he want to start setting up some group rides. There are a ton of cycling backgrounds at this company, from people that worked in shops for years to the guy that invented the Avid Juicy 7 (he is one of the founders of our company). Needless to say, I’m stoked.
Everything else is actually falling into place too. I have been made “official” at my job, and got my first raise, so new bikes will follow, haha. I have plans of pro-dealing a GT Marathon 9r from performance and hopefully buying a custom GT peace 9r off a friend. I REALLY want to buy a Niner Jet 9, but that is a little down the road.
It’s nice when life stops giving you lemons; you can only drink so much lemonade.
So if anyone is ever in the Boulder area, get in touch with me. We can ride some bikes, drink some beers, and take in the sweet, sweet scenery that this gorgeous state has to offer.
Until the next time, Cheers!
