Hey all, am taknig a trip to see some long lost family in Denver. Where to ride? Don’t know that I will have a lot of time to aclimate to altitude. Something in an intermediate level. The thought of going from sea level to 12000 ft seems daunting.
thanks and happy pedaling.

Green mountain is a good, easy ride.
If you're feeling a little more adventurous, Dakota ridge and Red Rocks, opposite sides of the road (yes, the famed amphitheatre area) is a great ride
And if you really feel a spark, hit White Ranch near Golden. Tough climb for 3-4 miles up Belcher Hill Trail, but the possibilities are endless when you get to the top, trails branch off in every direction... good ones. Try not to die descending.
Check out Trailcentral.com, lots of info and reviews there.
