Had a great time building this up. It’s my first time on a single speed, and it’s going to take some getting used to. The frame is beefy and efficient, and I’m really looking forward to this season on it.

That's a good road combination. I am loving my 69er - not sure how the Fetish Forks will work but the Surly Instigator is a perfect match and it's awesome riding in really techy terrain. Going to try a 130mm Manitou that I have laying around the garage once I get another Crown Race for the fork so I can swap them out quickly. Can't wait to see what happens with a little cush!

She's geared 32-16. Too slow for commuting to work, and just a little too high for real off-road use around here. I will likely gear it down just a little so that I can cover a little more of the tough stuff and singletrack with it. For now though it's fine the way it is. The fork is (I think) a 120. It's okay, but I've been spoiled by my lefty. I would liove to try that rigid 26-29 setup you've got going. Seems a great way to run a single-speed, and a very cool setup. Overall I'm having a great time with it. The frame geometry is perfect, saddle, bars, bb are all nicely within reach and it feels solid, responsive and easy to huck over stuff.

The Manitou Black, is that 130mm of travel? I have a Manitou 130mm that I took off my Giant AC that I am planning on using at some point in the future and I am curious how this rides. Right now, I am riding mine rigid with a Surly Instigator fork and a 29er tire upfront and it rocks!
Frame looks small for you with the seat jacked up so high. What kind of tires do you have on it?
