New Year’s 2008 update: stripped, rebuilt, and given to a kid’s ride club in July.
This is my all-weather bike…hence the name. We get an average of over 100 inches of snow every year, and I ride this baby right through it all!! I replaced the drivetrain with parts from a Specialized S-Works M2 I used to have. So, it’s outfitted with XT/XTR components and a Ritchey flatbar. I also got some new Avid BB7’s for it. They’re beautyeous! The wheels have been changed as well: front is Specialized Stout hub laced to a Sun rim, rear is an XT hub laced to a I-don’t-remember rim. This winter I’m gonna turn it into a single speed so I don’t have to clean the drivetrain so often.
