About
This one’s a modified 5 speed 20” mountian bike frame cut up and redesigned for OLD SCHOOL BMX racing. The shock came off of a Kawasaki MC1 90cc dirt bike. All welding was done with a MIG welder except the front shock mount plates at the head tube. They were welded on using a TIG welder using stainless filler wire. Parts on the bike shown in the pictures do not reflect the end product yet. New parts are being manufactured and scrounged up from various sources and will appear as they are finished and found. Parts listed below may change as we find better (read OLD BMX) stuff to use. This will be an on going project for some time. Thanks for looking!

The more I look at this bike the more I'm impressed. That thing looks awesome. Maybe if you have some time you can type up a blog detailing the fabrication work you did, how it rides, suspension details, etc...

Yeah. It was a 20" mountian bike frame (cheepo!) we had in our back yard and I don't even know where it came from. I was going to throw it out but thought it would make a great monoshock frame. It took two days at work (when the boss wasn't looking) to fab it up. Dirty Burd thinks it pretty cool! He wants some old motorcycle forks on it like Yamaha used on their Motobike. I don't know if I can find something that will work but will do my best to come up with something special for him.

That is insane. Did you make that??
