sweetness

I built this bike up almost two years ago. I started with the components from a Gary Fisher I mangled and have been upgrading since. I have rebuilt the shox and added the stiffest springs, this makes for a really sweet handling ride in almost all situations. I just added the Race Face x-type crankset and it is really smoooth. This ride gets a yearly wash and wax, in between it sports a permanent layer of dirt. I could make my ride a lot lighter by cleaning it and maybe by losing thirty pounds myself. Lately I have been riding this as a commuter as well as in the dirt, after two sets of dirt tires I put on a pair of semi-slicks, they have worked well so far but haven’t had them in the mud. Since it doesn’t rain often in San Diego in the summer I should be ok for awhile, especially since the dirt around here sets up like concrete when the weather gets warm.
