Thanks to Dan’s Comp for their fast service and GREAT web site. Thanks to Fetish Cycles for a great product at a FAIR price! This one’s DONE!! Pictures of it in racing action are being posted as soon as I get ‘em home. Stay tuned….....2 FAST 4 SURE!!!!! A few changes over this past year. The sealed bottom bracket was relpaced with standard UNSEALED unit. The lock collars inside kept coming loose and the spindle would slide over allowing the crank to hit the chain stay. NO GOOD!!! Nothing wrong with tried and true hardware ya know. There will not be a failure at a race because his BB comes loose! The Motobecane crank set was replaced with a Shimano Deore set. Both the BB and the crank set came from a derelict mountian bike. More freebes!! A Warhawk 40 tooth chainring was pressed into service. The Shimano crank has a standard bolt circle (unlike the Motobecane) so chainrings can be found anywhere.

This bike has been torn down to the frame and will undergo a complete stripping of its black coating. It will reappear at a latter date in a protective clear coating. At this time, we are unsure if we will order new FETISH stickers for it or just run it bare. Maybe just the head tube sticker?? I don’t know yet.

If you get Fetish on the phone, they'll probably send you free stickers. I have the mountain bike version of that fork, and it came with the "FETISH" stickers. I had V-brake mounts, though, so the stickers didn't fit too well. Ended up taking them off.

He likes them a lot. They are really nice looking and very stiff. Pretty light too. The only thing is they don't have FETISH on the legs like the picture on e-bay. I wish they did 'cause that really made them a real eye catcher!
